For 20 years now, Cedar Foundation has led positive change in government policies and public attitudes towards disadvantaged children and adults. In our work, we build and apply high standards of care through advocacy, development of social services and empowerment of individuals.
Established in 2005, Cedar Foundation:
- Has impacted the lives of over 3 000 disadvantaged children and adults in Bulgaria;
- Has transferred children and adults from 15 run-down orphanages to high-quality family-type care;
- Advocates for the rights of children at risk and people with disabilities;
- Provides individual care to close to 100 children and adults;
- Supports young adults with intellectual disabilities from the community and their families;
- Promotes the rights of professionals in the social field;
- Cooperates with businesses to promote corporate social responsibility and volunteering as generators for social change.
