Founded in 2010, the Center for Planetary Science is a science outreach program promoting astronomy, planetary science, and astrophysics to the next generation of space explorers. The center is directed and managed by Antonio Paris, a Professor of Astronomy at St. Petersburg College, FL. Additionally, the center is officially registered with the US Government System for Award Management (SAM) and NASA’s NSPIRES. Current Projects: Observatory for Kids Near Earth Asteroids Research (Catalina Survey) Galaxy Classification Project at Galaxy Zoo Planetary Disk Classification at Disk Detective Analyzing Radio Relescope data for SETI Extrasolar Planets Research at Planet Hunters Black Holes at Radio Galaxy Radio Astronomy Project (Listening to Asteroids) Upcoming Projects: Planetary Science Grant, NASA (2015) Upcoming Projects: Habitable Planets Field Trip, NASA and University of Arizona (2015)
