Centre for Litigation Studies was established in 2016 under the auspices of National Law University, Jodhpur with the aim of motivating students to consider litigation as a career option. It also offers necessary support to those who wish to enter the field of litigation soon after the graduation. To this end, it invites law practitioners, judges and academicians to deliver lectures on the various aspects of litigation including procedural laws. The Centre organises the Intra-University Public Interest Litigation Filing Competition annually in a bid to make the students familiar with the filing of a PIL. It also operates a blog Blog@CLiS (https://clisnlujblog.wordpress.com/about/) to further the said objective by publishing articles and interviews of the individuals associated with litigation in order to understand the nuances of the field.
