Founded in Australia in 1998, The ChoiceMaker first started through book trade between Australia and Korea and has since developed as a global agency, through finding new markets for Korean books internationally and bringing on board lists from other countries.
With offices in both Sydney, Australia, and Seoul, Korea, The ChoiceMaker not only buys children's titles from around the globe for the Korean market, but also exclusively represents a number of Korean, Latin American, and U.S. children's publishers in the international market.
The ChoiceMaker also operates the Australian-based publishing imprint, big & SMALL. Its first project was working with a famous writer Joy Cowley, editing English text editions of the best educational picture books with artistic illustrations originally published in the Korean market. big & SMALL Children's books are now available in Australia, the UK, and the U.S.
