The Company was founded by Philip Arthurs, CPA in 2009 as a moonlighting side hustle to generate additional cash for his family. As of late 2020, Philip is full-time in this business with a few strategic partners.
Philip has a master of accountancy degree from Auburn University, has been a CPA since 2008, is a data analytics expert, and was CFO of Sequatchie Concrete (a $170M Ready-Mix Concrete, Concrete Block and Aggregates manufacturing company sold in late 2020).
While CFO, Philip and his team helped grow the company's EBITDA 600% in five years. While there were many factors that contributed to this success, a large part of it was attributed to automated reporting that helped the executive team make quick decisions. The reporting included average selling price dashboards, efficiency reporting, production volume dashboards, advanced budgeting/forecasting reports using Workday's Adaptive Insights, automating month-end closing calculations/activities, and many other KPI reports using Power BI. Some of the same people who helped achieve these spectacular results are part of The Cloud Firm team.

Typical clients will have revenues over $5M as the tools needed to drive results can be costly.
