The Coding Nurse®️

The Coding Nurse®️, LLC was created after Jesse grew tired of bedside nursing and transitioned into medical coding. The coding courses have been custom developed to help nurses learn the various code sets and transition into a medical coding role in 8 weeks and a CDI role in 13 weeks. To learn more about me, I invite you to read the next paragraph. Jesse is a Licensed Practical Nurse and holds multiple coding credentials through AHIMA, AAPC and AHCC (CDIP, CCS, CCS-P, CPMA, CPB, CRC, HCS-D, HCS-O). He enjoyed his time as a direct care nurse, working in several specialty areas. His never-ending quest for success motivated him to seek opportunities to utilize his medical knowledge in new ways, which lead him to the health information management industry. His talent for auditing led him to work for many different types of payers, including commercial, Medicare/Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage providers. Jesse's desire to continue to help people has led him to his latest endeavors, medical coding education and consulting. He currently holds AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS and CDI Trainer designations. Jesse currently provides live, group medical coding trading online and works with medical providers to help them improve their revenue management cycle, by improving clinical documentation and the claims denial resolution process.
