TheCoin Collaborative Canada is a non-profit focused on finding alternative ways to pay our "Green Premium" without personal sacrifice. We don't believe we can afford to wait for politicians to fulfill their promises or for companies to become philanthropic. We provide products and services focused on using carbon offsets to reduce an individual's carbon footprint. Our flagship product, TheCoin, is a novel savings account backed by the stock market. It provides a customizable level of protection from stock market volatility, a return many magnitudes higher than traditional savings accounts, and automatically offsets the clients' CO2 footprint. TheGreenNFT is the complementary product focused on providing recognition and speculative return for individuals with higher risk tolerance and more aggressive goals. It does not offer a "cost-free" method of paying down your green premium and instead uses public recognition and an NFT's inherent collectible nature for its incentive.
