Welcome to The Common Bench, where creativity meets community. Our company derives its name from the humble workbench, symbolising a space where individuals come together to design, collaborate, build and share. Embracing the ethos of the interdisciplinary Design Thinking framework, we specialise in Maker Education, empowering students to approach challenges with empathy, creativity, and critical thinking across various fields. In addition to our educational programs, we also design and build makerspaces, providing physical environments that inspire hands-on exploration and innovation. Our tailored programs and makerspaces are designed to cultivate 21st Century competencies, equipping preschools, primary and secondary school students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in this VUCA world. We are a Programme Partner of Design Singapore Council’s Learning By Design initiative for 2023 to 2025. Join us at The Common Bench, where every idea has a seat and every learner has a voice.
