The Common Wheel is a community bike center that revolutionizes people and places using the energy and equity of bicycles. We accomplish this by providing access, education, and programs that develop a bike-friendly community including: • Teaching bike safety and maintenance, responsibility, STEM skills, and financial literacy via our Earn-a-Bike program • Leading group social rides that grow rider confidence and help promote local businesses • Providing affordable bikes and friendly advice to all • Promoting safe, courteous riding through individual instruction and group rides • Advocating for a bike-friendly community where the bicycle is a viable form of transportation • Raising awareness of the environmental, economic, and health benefits of biking
