In a recent survey by Harvard University, 550 senior leaders, managers and supervisors were asked what they considered to be the most important drivers of business success.
The first two answers were fairly conventional.
80% of respondents said Excellent Customer Service. Not a great surprise. Any business that has customers (and most do) needs to make sure they are delivering qualify and value for money.
Second voted for by 73% of respondents was Effective Communication.
Again not much of a shock. With the complexity of today's business world it is vital that everyone knows what is going on.
But the third most important issue voted for by 71% of respondents may not be what you expected. It was having High Levels of Employee Engagement.
