the Corner Office, Ltd was founded in early 2013 by Catherine Fox-Simpson, CPA to bring the trusted advisor back to middle market companies. After nearly 20 years in public accounting, Catherine recognized the value of technical expertise and the needs of businesses to freely access this knowledge in a post-Sarbanes Oxley world. SOX created an environment where material weaknesses and significant deficiencies were of vital concern. Executive teams needed access to resources, what we call “brilliance” at the Corner Office, to assist them as they navigate the challenges of a changing business environment. Unable to consult with its’ auditors, business leaders were left searching for the trusted advisors they needed.
