The Culturing Dish

The Culturing Dish is a UK-based network being developed by early-career mycologists and fungi folk. It’s a space for connection and collaboration, where people working with fungi across research, cultivation, ecology, art and education can find each other and grow something meaningful. We’re building a platform to host events, support collaborative projects, share funding opportunities, and develop a directory of individuals, organisations and ideas shaping the future of fungi in the UK. Our work brings visibility to early-career voices, encourages cross-disciplinary exchange, and nurtures a culture where science and creativity are given equal space. We’re open to new connections and contributions as the network grows.
