The Drifter was founded in 2015 in Thessaloniki, Greece as a shoe brand that offers services of personalized fit. It is a family-run business dedicated to offering shoes that respect individuality and human physiology. The company offers a made to order collection of shoes that can be personalized in terms of colors and fit. The shoe styles are developed by the members of the co-operative team, and are offered exclusively through the retail online store. The team is updated on most recent research regarding human physiology, and minimalist footwear. The customer care team, is specialized in shoe crafting, and operates through emails for setting up orders, consulting with the customer and the crafting team. A file of fitting preferences for retail customers is kept for future reference. High quality materials are hand-picked, waste or stock is minimal, and the crafting technique is set in a way the minimum of machinery and energy is required.
