Originally created as the Dublin Fund of the Columbus Foundation by an endowment made by a small group of village residents, the Foundation received its’ 501c3 designation by the IRS in 2004, and formally became the Dublin Foundation. At its’ core, the mission of the Dublin Foundation is to support the community and its nonprofit organizations by raising, investing, and dispersing funds for the betterment of the community. In addition to awarding grants to nonprofit organizations, the Foundation also seeks to provide capacity-building resources to those nonprofits; and to serve as the collaborative intersection of the public, private and philanthropic sectors to affect change in our community. The impact of the Dublin Foundation can be found in all areas of life in Dublin, and our funding is focused on arts and cultural endeavors, civic affairs and community services, civic engagement, education, environment, health and human services, historic preservation, and recreation. While the Dublin Foundation continues to remain true to the vision set forth at its creation, it also is paving the way for community members and organizations to make their own mark on the community. As a community foundation, we are created by and for the people of Dublin, Ohio, and are here to help donors make a positive impact on the community.
