The Effectiveness Group®

The Effectiveness Group is a national and international training company. We develop training programs or customize our existing programs to meet the needs of the client, which have been or are such companies as Nokia, NSN, Wal-Mart, and others. The training programs are "theme-based," meaning that trainees are Knights of the Round Table, NASA analyst, Olympic committee members, among other people. Each program presents concepts: leadership, engagement, Conversity (our diversity program), team building and other topics. Each topic contains the most recent research information but is presented in this theme-based manner to make the information and the experience more memorable and the information easier to retain. We also entertain speaking engagements and conference presentations - ASTD International Conference, SHRM International Conference, along with many state conferences. Topics have included Circle of Ethics; Theme It Up; Personality and Its Impact on Selection, Promotion, and Retention; Engagement; and many other topics. We have written an engagement fable entitled - Polaris, An Engagement Fable available through amazon.com. This fable can be used as an engagement training program for a few hours or a day. The book contains instructions for such training, Additionally, we use the personality assessment to help students discover careers that fit their personalities. The assessment can be used for high school students as well as undecided college students.
