Epilogics is a technology licensing company that specializes in the Automotive Industry. We help inventors commercialize their inventions by starting new companies in which we take an equity interest together with the inventor. We raise capital from private investors and hire specialists to develop (engineer) products with specific applications for the auto industry, obtain Intellectual property rights (patents, copyrights, trade secret protection), and market these products. Our end goal is to license these IP rights to automotive suppliers in exchange for a license fee and/or a royalty stream.
Our most commercially successful project to date is the Mechanical DIode One Way Clutch which was licensed to Means Industries of Saginaw, MI. Our most technically successful project is the Kuhl Wheel which was licensed to Hayes Lemmerz International, the world's largest wheel company, and currently enjoys a growing installed base of over 40 million wheels.
