OUR MISSION: To acknowledge and promote professional excellence in the education and care of patients with life-threatening pulmonary illnesses. GUIDING PRINCIPLES: --The objectives of FACES are served when the Foundation adheres to the principles embodied in the life of Phil Lamka: be honest; be open; know what matters in life!  --Professional excellence leads to improved health care outcomes among patients living with life-threatening pulmonary illnesses.  --In the care of pulmonary illnesses, professional education and recognition of best practices benefit patients and their support networks.
