The Fed is the largest Jewish social care charity in Greater Manchester and cares- and supports - more Jewish people than any other charity in our city region. We are the Manchester Jewish community's safety net.
The Fed supports a staggering one in seven Jewish homes and over 6,500 people every years across Greater Manchester and delivers state of the art, loving care to 140 residents and tenants at our Heathlands Village Care Home.
Via our Community Services teams we support people with mental health issues, sexual abuse of children, loneliness, domestic abuse and violence, isolation, poverty and self-harm. We also support 35 Holocaust survivors, coordinate 550+ volunteers who deliver over 40,000 hours of volunteering every year and employ 350 people.
