The Fermain Academy

The Fermain Academy is an award winning, nationally recognised Alternative Provision (AP). We have the sole mission of transforming our students’ lives so they can move forward as hugely successful individuals. With now duel site facilities to cater for up to 90 students aged 13-16 at any given time, the academy provides an extremely ambitious curriculum as well as holistic and rounded support to inspire creativity and belief in learning. We have a dedicated team enthused toward tailoring learning pathways to allow our students to thrive where previously they have encountered barriers to their progress personally as well as educationally. We embody the core values of child centred, adaptative and sensitive to need and authentic relationships. Through these, our offer sees students access up to 12 GCSEs or industry equivalent qualifications, take part in a wide range of community cohesion experiences and rediscover a love of learning.
