About The Forklift Trainer

With over 20 years of forklift training experience, we have customized an on-site forklift training system that will ensure that your employees meet the current OSHA guidelines for standard CFR 29 1910.178 - Powered Industrial Trucks. The program includes: 1- On-site classroom training, review & testing. 2- Operator evaluations. 3- Daily pre-inspection sheets specific to your equipment. 4- Operator certification cards that are valid for 3 years. 5- On-going support & re-certification reminders. 6- The course is given in English, but we can provide Spanish tests. **Note- We do not offer training for individuals looking to learn how to operate a forklift. We only work with companies.** What Makes our Program Different: Our training program is an on-site training program that is fully compliant with the OSHA CFR 29 1910.178 - Power Industrial Trucks. OSHA requires every employee to have classroom video review and written testing. It also requires that each employee is evaluated safely operating your equipment. The online courses that flood the internet typically only meet half the standard and are not in compliance. Our program is competitively priced and ensures that your employees can safely operate your equipment when we leave. In our closeout evaluation report, we will make recommendations for employees that should have additional supervisor observation to get them completely comfortable operating your equipment. In addition we will provide a daily pre-inspection sheet for your equipment and point out any potential safety issues. The most common issues we see with my clients are: 1- No forklift safety training in place for new hires or current employees. 2- Accepting a previous license from a new hire. Employers are required to provide training on their equipment. 3- Expired forklift training certificates. 4- No pre-inspection OSHA requires all employers to ensure that all forklift operators have a valid forklift certification, which is valid for (3) years.
