The Founders Forge was created with a single mission: “Help founders succeed!” In reflecting on his journey from his first startup to his last, and in mentoring and advising 1,000’s of founders, he recognized not only the patterns of success and failure, but also what help and resources were the most impactful at helping founders thrive. He formalized those insights and launched his coaching programs for early stage founders. The Founders Forge is not just: * A coaching practice * A startup accelerator * A source of founder mentorship & advisory * A way to get active input from experienced founders * A place to discuss gaps and needs without “scaring your stakeholders” * A supportive peer environment * A place to learn startup best practices & frameworks It’s ALL of those. Tony built The Founders Forge to be the resource that he wished had existed when his first startup made him doubt his abilities and created more stress than pleasure. We work with founders or founding teams, or groups of just a few founders to help them: (1) develop the frameworks for effectively leading a high performance team (2) help them develop the clarity to keep them energized, help them execute, and stay focused (3) identify and deal with the things that are holding them back or slowing them down. Being a founder is one of the most diverse and difficult jobs in the world and yet requires no previous experience. Many founders find it difficult to deal with the overwhelming demands of the job, the pressures that come from all directions, and the psychological toll of making decisions that impact many people. Some also have the added stress that comes from doubts that surface when the tough times emerge (and they always emerge) and they wonder if they are up to the task.
