The Game Assembly

The Game Assembly is a higher vocational education in Malmö and Stockholm, Sweden, for those who wish to work in the game industry. We educate game artists, game programmers, level designers, game animators, technical artists and procedural artists. The educations is 2.5 years long (except Technical artist that's 1,5 years). 2 years is spent at school and the last half year the students do their internship in the game industry. At The Game Assembly the students make 8 games in total. They start out with a text adventure and end up making a FPS. Our game programmers make their own game engines and tools and all games are made in 8-9 weeks half time. The students always work cross-disciplinary and agile which makes them very prepared when they go out on internship. Our unique selling points are: We make games all the time Our teachers are experienced in game developing and game education We have a very good relationship with the game industry, not just in Sweden And last but not least, if you hire a person from The Game Assembly, that person has a large network of new and old The Game Assembly students and alumni.
