The Globe Moorgate

The Globe is conveniently located in Moorgate, London, a short stroll from Moorgate and Liverpool Street Underground Stations, London Wall, Finsbury Circus Garden and the Barbican Centre. You’ll find many of central London’s iconic tourist attractions near you — including the Museum of London, The Bank of England, Guildhall Art Gallery and the Royal Exchange Buildings. A UNIQUE CITY CENTRE PUB WITH A RICH HISTORY Nicholson’s Pubs are known for their individual style, exciting stories, and charming personalities — and The Globe is certainly no exception. With its elegant rococo exterior, you could call The Globe the social hub of Moorgate and London Wall, and you wouldn’t be wrong. The building sits in a prominent position at the junction, running along the line of a Roman Wall. It’s also situated close to the original site of notorious Bedlam (Bethlem) Hospital for fans of London’s history. There’s space for everyone to explore each rooms distinct and unique ambiance and atmosphere. During the 19th Century, there were in fact 30 pubs in London called ‘The Globe’ – of course, our particular Globe has always been unique! The famous poet, John Keats, was also born in a stable next door — quite the claim to fame!
