The Great RomCon? was born out of a growing dissatisfaction among young people in London with the culture and behaviours that have developed from online and app-based dating, as well as the fatigue of endless swiping, ghosting, and superficial connections. We have a bold vision of better romantic relationships forged, not via stilted and drawn-out textcrumbs, but through in-person communication—meeting real potential dates at specially curated events, rooted in intellectual conversation on modern relationships.
