The Greatest 8™ is an innovative, evidence-informed initiative designed to promote lifelong mental well-being by ensuring that parents, caregivers, and health providers have the training and resources they need to promote 8 core skills in children ages 0-8. These foundational mental health skills are: 1. Communic8: Communication Skills 2. Contempl8: Identifying & Understanding Feelings 3. Regul8: Balancing Emotions 4. Elev8: Self-Perceived Competence 5. Collabor8: Problem-Solving 6. Accomod8: Coping & Resilience 7. Negoti8: Conflict Management & Resolution 8. Celebr8: Diversity Awareness & Respect Because today's parents/caregivers are busy, The Greatest 8™ offers age -appropriate educational resources (such as podcasts, blogs, etc.) online so they can be obtained anytime 24/7. We also offer a free text messaging service to give parents/caregivers weekly, age-appropriate tips & activities for teaching the 8 skills to their young children (ages 0-8).
