Welcome to The Grid, a fresh, accessible voice for Toronto. Our goal is to capture the energy of the city, largely by rejecting the glossy, aspirational vision of Toronto you see in so many other publications. The Grid is produced for people in their 20s, 30s and 40s, and reflects the downtown lifestyle of its audience through its hyper-local focus on Toronto’s many neighbourhoods. Content ranges from politics, the arts, and pop culture to fashion, style, and food and drink—and is always delivered in a smart, accessible way. True fact: In the Society for News Design’s annual competition, The Grid was named the “best-designed newspaper in the world.”
