The Headwaters Eco Lodge is a thriving, regenerative business that’s environmentally and financially sustainable, giving back to its local community and the wider world. The Lodge uses approximately 50% less water than similar facilities and generates more energy than it uses thanks to 589 solar photovoltaic panels onsite making it Net Positive for energy, while also providing all power to Mrs Woolly’s café, gift store and art gallery. Mrs Woolly's General Store opened in 2015 and offers the South Island's most extensive collection of artwork, gifts, tasty fresh foods and beautiful, practical items for home, the outdoors, holidays and lifestyle both in-store and online. A true "general store," Mrs Woolly's seeks to serve the wide-ranging needs of both visitors and locals... all of whom agree the house-made Full Monty gelato sundae is the best thing they've ever tasted.
