The Healing NET Foundation's mission is to optimize the care of those with neuroendocrine cancer through the education of and collaboration among physicians, health care providers, patients, and caregivers.
We advocate for the right treatment, from the right team, at the right time.
The Healing NET Foundation's Board of Directors is made up of survivors, caregivers, physicians, and business professionals across the United States who have an interest in shifting the paradigm of NET care to the highest level possible. Due to a lack of awareness about neuroendocrine cancer among primary physicians, oncologists, surgeons and other disease specialists, many patients are undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, are under-treated or over-treated, or do not receive the latest treatments available.
The Healing NET Foundation is focused on filling that niche by funding physician and health care provider education about neuroendocrine cancer, empowering patients and caregivers to advocate for their own health and build a better relationship with their providers, and collaborate with other organizations to build better education and awareness of what's considered a rare disease.
