The Health Education and Eliminating Disparities Society was created to provide a platform for future and current Black/African American Public Health Professionals. Through career postings, links to trainings for varying disciplines within the field, and most importantly, the opportunity to connect with seasoned professionals in the field, The HEED Society aims to educate and empower the next wave of public health professionals. With a destiny to increase health literacy, eliminate health disparities, and address social determinants of health that disproportionately affect marginalized populations within the community.
