The Himalayan Post is a tabloid newspaper offering words and visuals on variety of subjects and unfolding events. A fiercely independent news venture from Srinagar, ours is a small team of news nerds with proper media degrees and work experience. We have no place for the ‘accidentals’ masquerading as media-persons. As part of Kashmir’s dynamic news ecosystem, we try to keep it simple while serving stories in different packages. The motive is to maintain the sanctity of facts without overplaying amid the noise being made in the name of the mike-driven social media journalism. Separating chaff from grains, our aim is to go beyond headlines and focus on some untold stories.
