Its establishment was the result of a 14-year odyssey of misdiagnoses and invasive medical procedures, eventually leading to the discovery of the importance of the Homer and other scaffolding genes in cell function and neurological disease. The Homer Hack’s mission is to pave the way for advancements in research, diagnosis, and support. By joining forces with researchers, families, and communities, we aim to ‘Hack Homer’.
