About The Honey Bear Project

The Honey Bear Projects HBCU Program's Mission is to: - Build brand new Turf fields for all HBCUs currently playing on grass - Create an HBCU STEM (football) scholarship program - Improve surrounding minority communities 100 yards at a time - Improve the health and safety of all football players, currently playing on grass fields that are over 100 years old - Improve the health and safety of students in the marching bands, on the flag teams, and cheerleaders - Provide HOPE to a community in need of progress - Provide an avenue to attract high caliber black football players Our mission is simple: to be a beacon of hope, be an example of kindness, be a believer in the human spirit, and do our part in making some of those dreams come true. We live in a big world where some people have more advantages than others. Our goal is to help people from all levels of society by uplifting them. The needs may be different, but it is still a need, from education to sports to one’s basic survival. We encourage you to dream big, and we stand ready to assist by providing support through our many programs.
