The Invisible Riptide is designed to support a public health, community approach to building mental wellness - together. We aim to help strengthen communication and grow mental health awareness. With our books, website, and products, we provide the essential resources, including a common language, to make sure that youth's and families' mental health are top priority. Our resources are preventative, proactive, and practical, with easy-to-use interactive skills.
We provide parents, coaches, counselors, and any adult working with children the confidence to approach what can be a difficult topic or simply a topic that many don't know how to address.
Their first two books – The Invisible Riptide and From Surviving to Vibing: Filling in the Gaps – offer a much-needed mental health resource for children, adolescents, and caregivers that supports recognizing mental health issues, opening communication, creating connections, and developing effective coping.
These books can give youth a voice so they can find emotional safety - the ability to identify and express emotions and have them validated – and learn how to surf the riptide of emotions we all experience.
