The Krunch Box

The Krunch Box is a student-led start-up founded by seven MBA students from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. As MBA students, we are always eager to apply the lessons we've learned in finance, marketing, operations, and business management to a real-world venture. With market research as our first step, we quickly realized that GLIM Chennai, being located in the outskirts of Chengalpattu, with a student body of over 1,000 individuals from across India, proposed an opportunity to bring authentic regional flavors to campus. From surveys to focus group discussions, we conducted thorough market research to understand student preferences. We then sought out manufacturers who could provide uncompromised taste while ensuring high quality and hygiene standards. With our team handling different aspects such as marketing, financial management, operations, media, and procurement, we built The Krunch Box from the ground up, driven by our shared love for food and desire to serve.
