The Lottery is a 12-week advertising crash course that randomly pairs both a senior-level strategist & creative with a mentee team consisting of an up-and-coming strategist, copywriter, and art director.
Mentors can expect their mentee's to have little professional experience in their respective discipline. Mentee's can expect to learn and be coached by their experienced mentors.
The quarter will begin by teams being briefed on an RFP-type document. For the first month, the strategy mentor/mentee duo will work on crafting the creative brief. The following month, the creative mentor/mentee duo will work off the brief to develop a big idea/campaign. Towards the end, each team will present their work to each other and to others in the industry!
This is the only lottery where everyone's a winner.
