The MACRO Project, Inc., is a social work consulting practice providing quality trauma-informed services to groups, organizations and agencies representing various systems. The MARCO Project is built upon the belief that trauma prevention and intervention requires a focus on community and system-level functions and power imbalances. The goal of The MACRO Project is to facilitate trauma healing by strategically confronting, repairing, and ultimately changing systems. Services rendered are built upon an intersectional trauma-informed equity framework recognizing that personal identities such as race and class determines one’s ability to maintain needed safety and self-sufficiency. As a service provider, The MACRO Project operationalizes the belief that all our clients, and the populations they serve, possess the needed inherent strengths vital to their individual and collective well-being.
