The Magic Future Foundation

The Magic Future Foundation's mission is to transform the trajectory of communities and countries, one school at a time. We believe that education is a powerful poverty-fighting tool that children and their families can take, own, and run with for generations to come. The Magic Future Foundation was set up by the Wissenbach family back in 2013. And after building 4 schools as a family, we hoped one day to build more. However in 2019, we lost our first son and brother, Oli Wissenbach, tragically and unexpectedly. After Oli passed, we discovered writings that he'd written on Quora under a pseudonym called Sam Leaper. And in one of his works, he'd written a list of what he wanted to be true when he died. One of which read "the world better because I was here". This is now the foundation's purpose: #worldbetterbecause. And the ignition behind The 100 Schools Project. Working with partner organisation, buildOn, we've already reached 30 schools funded, with 26 built!
