We are constantly inspired by all the talented small businesses out there doing their thing, sharing their passion, and creating a product they stand behind proudly. There is so much power in the story behind our products and that story can be a cause for concern or an opportunity for connection depending on where you shop.
Makeshift Muse was created to fulfill a need in San Luis Obispo, CA. With so many talented artists & small business owners, we needed a platform for them to come together and share their work with the community. We create the space for small businesses to grow, gain exposure, & interact with their customers in a fun environment complete with live music, local beer & wine, food trucks, workshops, and yoga! We started in January of 2018 and since then have planned & completed around 200 markets in San Luis Obispo, Venice Beach, and Los Alamos.
