Establish in response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), The Mask Project is a grassroots youth-led organization aiming to supply hospitals across the GTA with surgical masks. Currently, Ontario hospitals are facing a shortage of surgical masks. While they are not used by healthcare personnel, the general public - and especially hospital patients - are encouraged to wear surgical masks as a preventative measure.
Our mission is it to provide hospitals with much-needed surgical masks to slow the spread of the virus and create a healthier, safer community.
