Massage Therapy Does Not Get The Respect It Deserves. Visit any Massage Therapy Facebook group, article or blog on the internet and you’ll realize: There is a lot of frustration and very differing opinions within the Massage Therapy industry. Massage Therapy, as an industry is not where it needs to be. There is a call out for national certifications, evidence based research and a change in understanding. While there are very differing views on all of these topics it is obvious that Massage Therapy does not get the respect it deserves. If I hear one more “happy ending” joke I’m going to snap! That’s where we come in. This is YOUR site. We want egos and agendas left at the door. We need to work together to promote massage therapy and form a community that benefits everyone. We want to promote Massage Therapy, highlight its great affects as well as highlight what Massage Therapists are doing in their communities. Not sure what CECs to take?
