The Mixed Space

The Mixed Space is a community providing a space where multicultural, multiethnic, multilingual folks can explore their common identities as a whole–never a half. Through collaborative conversation and community building activities, The Mixed Space works towards redefining mixed identity. Since 2018, The Mixed Space hosts monthly meetups to discuss and deal with issues of Race, Culture, Heritage, Class, Language, Politics, and more. Every meetup partners with guest speakers and organizations to create equitable spaces for self discovery and connection. Seeing mixedness as a strength, The Mixed Space continues to cultivate its community, encouraging one another to live consciously in the world. Our goal is to be leaders of change using self expression, honoring our roots, and advocating for social justice.
