The Mojo Gallery

The Mojo Gallery strives to host shows that are innovative, thought provoking and international in context. The gallery is passionate about presenting unique work by emerging and established artists from around the world, with a particular emphasis on contemporary African artists. However, it remains free from any particular school, category or geographical region of contemporary art. The gallery was founded in 2009 with the desire to engage, inspire and educate a diverse and growing audience in all forms of international and contemporary art. Mojo’s programme is innovative and eclectic. The gallery, which is a core but independent component of a design, advertising, media and PR agency group, enjoys bridging the waters between commercial and fine arts. A series of workshops are also offered, designed and led by artists showing in the gallery. The workshops assist participants to improve technical expertise, concept development, with modules including theory, practical demonstrations, assignments, critiques, portfolio building and approaching galleries.
