The NAAC represents contractors in the UK who supply all types of land-based services to farmers, government, local authorities, sports and recreational facilities. We are committed to representing the interests of members at national and, where needed, international level. We offer information and expert advice, promote the services of our members and assist contractors in providing a professional and competitive service to farmers and the local community.
The NAAC not only represents contractors at national Government level, but we also work closely with other agricultural and land-based organisations. Members are represented on a vast variety of committees including the Defra Productivity Taskforce, Voluntary Initiative, Farm Safety Partnership, Agricultural Industry Advisory Committee, Amenity Forum, NRoSO, Food Standards Agency and Basis Board.
Contractors are vital to the prosperity of the countryside, being able to deliver large-scale solutions to assist in food production and efficiency, whilst helping to protect the environment and biodiversity. Our aim is to be certain that land-based contractors are always at the fore-front of Government policy moving forward.
