The Network is a data-driven, counter-human trafficking organization focused on dismantling the Illicit Massage Industry—one of the most widespread and overlooked forms of human trafficking in the United States. As callous as it sounds, we believe traffickers exploit people for one reason: because it makes money. To defeat them, we start by learning how their business works, how it’s organized, and what drives profit. By analyzing a trafficker’s business model, we can identify its vulnerabilities, create risk, and strategically disrupt it. Our goal is to make trafficking unprofitable, and therefore unsustainable. Our diverse team leverages skills honed in the intelligence community, data analytics, financial services industry, and victim service provision. We are based in Arlington, Virginia, and work with partners across the United States.
