İsmini İngiltere’deki Newcastle limanının yanındaki küçük bir kasabadan alan pubın Türkiye’de 16 şubesi bulunmaktadır. Tipik bir İngiliz pubı olan The North Shield’in tüm dekorasyonunu, iç mimar olan Teoman Hünal geliştirmiştir.
