We are a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We offer scholarships to youth to keep them inspired and involved. We are inclusive of ALL extracurricular activities.
100% of all donations go to the cause.
The Problem:
60% of families believe youth extracurricular activities are a financial strain on their family and relationships. It isn't abnormal for certain families to be expected to pay anywhere from ~5-12% of their income to go towards funding youth activities in a calendar year.
Narrative:
We have unfortunately created a competitive gap amongst our communities with a continued problematic approach, which is pushing parents and their kids to commit to less and less extracurricular activities, even at the ages of 5-6 years old. Pushing more and more "pay to play" models that are making both commitment and financial strain amongst families more and more difficult to be able to participate. Less and less kids are receiving the lifelong benefits that teamwork, coaches, mentors, practice, competition, adversity, and so much more all bring with such opportunities.
The Solution:
The Offered Foundation will Empower Youth, Ignite their Dreams, and Build their Futures. We will do this by offering a unique scholarship program that gives kids the chance to participate and stay involved vs. having to walk away. This can range from a donor fund of equipment, travel, skills training, club fees and so much more. Applications can be submitted by a family or done on a referral basis and will be responded to within a few business days.
How we are different:
Donors can select what interests them, become matched with someone in their community and transparently see the difference they are making in their lives. We will prioritize experiences and each Offered recipient will have the requirements of staying in school, getting good grades, volunteer work, and giving back along the way.
