The Out & Back Project® is a mission based non-profit organization launching physical challenges tied to bringing funds and awareness to social and economic issues.
The inaugural event will be an attempt at the first ever 'out and back' bike to run across the State of New York, cycling 300 miles 'out' and running 300 miles 'back' from Manhattan to Syracuse and back all in under 10 days. The physical challenge will drive a fundraising and awareness effort to combat hunger in the United States along Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger relief organization.
The Out & Back Project team will be stopping at five Feeding America New York Food Bank locations throughout the run back. We have set a fundraising goal of $100k which equates to 1M meals provided to those in need through Feeding America's national network of food banks.
