The Starcross Group is a private investment firm with investment activities spanning the globe. The firm was founded in 1938 as a partnership vehicle investing in a variety of assets, mostly related to oil and marine shipping, that benefited from the war and postwar industrial economies. Having started as Empresas Palacios in Mexico, the partnership expanded to Greece in 1945 and established an affiliate in Israel shortly after its foundation as a recognised nation. Since then Starcross Group has managed the assets of a small group of families with a broad investment mandate deploying capital across a variety of strategies.
The Group operates through a network of subsidiary entities across Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East, holding control investments in high-quality small businesses operating in a number of sectors as well as direct ownership of real assets including real estate and commercial sea-going vessels. A portion of the Group’s assets are also invested in public equities with a macro and equity long/short fund, while another portion is held in actively managed third party funds.
The Starcross Group is a successor to the Palacios Group Of Enterprises Ltd which was merged into Starcross Investments Ltd. in 2019
