The Parent Team

We are a team of experienced parent educators based in London and NY. Since 2008 we have taught positive parenting skills — providing practical, effective support to ease the stresses of parenting, making home life more enjoyable and helping parents raise children who are more resilient, confident and cooperative, and able to thrive. Between the four of us, we have 9 children, and have first-hand experience of using these tools through the many typical, and some less typical, childhood challenges including countless school exams, neurodiversity, anxiety and school refusal, sibling rivalry, homework battles, friendship issues, and much more! What do we teach? 1. The 6-Session Positive Parenting Course (taught live on Zoom) Our flagship course provides a toolkit of parenting and communication skills to use in all parenting situations. This helps parents to feel calmer and more positively in charge — which helps children improve their behaviour, strengthens family relationships, and eases the stresses at home, making parenting life more enjoyable and fulfilling. 2. Topic-based Workshops We regularly lead online and in-person workshops (in-house, in schools and in corporations) on specific parenting topics and provide effective solutions and practical examples to empower parents to get into action. 3. Private Consultations One-to-one private sessions allow parents to focus on specific issues and develop a strategic positive parenting plan that can be implemented immediately. Whether parents want to get on the front foot and start their parenting life with a positive parenting toolkit, or make small changes to the atmosphere at home, or need support with significant challenges, the skills we teach impact the parent's ability to be calmer and more responsive in managing family challenges.
