Our vision is to raise the aspirations and life chances of young people and their families who are facing challenging circumstances. We do this through sports, leadership and mentoring programmes, and also, through community building, training and education and signposting information.
We have established daily activities at a local under-used park, where our youth workers and professional providers supervise and hold sessions for youngsters from the locality to partake in, we also have established connections with various organisations and groups who signpost youngsters to attend our sessions and engage with our youth workers. The signposted youngsters include refugees, asylum seekers, and BAME children referred by local schools and other out of school clubs and organisations.
We provide volunteering, mentoring and professional accreditation through our leadership program and we are also working to establish a youth club and hub, space for young people in Hull.
Our mission is to provide young people from the BAME community with a safe atmosphere to develop their skills and build positive relationships with the support of our youth ambassadors and other professionals.
